Baba created Ananda Marga about 50 years ago, and it has been going strong ever since. Ananda Marga is unlike other "yoga" groups in many ways. Ananda Marga is a whole way of life, where spiritual development goes hand in hand with social responsibility and service to humanity. Ananda Marga demands a real committment, and constant practice. But it pays off in deep, deep ways that cannot even be imagined!
You cannot be an Ananda Margii and stand idly by and witness injustice. Like Jesus, Anandamurti commanded us to perform selfless service to sufferring humanity. Ananda Margiis are all social activists. Ananda Marga involves all aspects of your life.
