Langwasser (#28). John was (in my opinion) one of our better pilots and a
person that I also considered a "friend". John and I flew more than
one "special mission" together. He currently lives in Tenn. and we are
in contact from time to time.
I flew my "last mission" with
the 146th on April 29, 1969 with Mr. Hunt (pictured above) and Mr. Jewell
(not in picture above). It was a most memorable flight with Mr. Hunt taking
pictures and me in the right seat. See the pictures below:
