The poetry in this electronic chapbook concerns a particular place, that of the Merrimack River, its Valley and environs, from its mouth at Plum Island (including all of Plum Island, which is embraced also by the Plum, Parker, and Ipswich Rivers) to places upriver, on both sides, below, and above the river, to Maudslay State Park. Although on the map this may appear to be a small place, it is far from that. It is expansive. It is full of mysteries. It is breath-taking. For many reasons, this place is special to me, not the least of which is its natural beauty. My poems, I hope, will translate this for any and all readers. Welcome. Any comments and criticism:
