MARTINI (classic)

• 1 part dry vermouth (1 oz.wt.)
• 3 parts gin (3 oz.wt.)
• 2 dashes orange bitters (1/8 teaspoon)
• Lemon twists (optional)

Chill two cocktail glasses. Fill cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Measure in vermouth, gin, and orange bitters. Shake or stir vigorously. Strain into chilled cocktail glasses. Garnish each glass with a twist of lemon peel.
