Winter Leadership conference

·        Vice President report – TALC –

Various TALC issues were discussed & defined. Lou advised AGAIN to be sure issues were contractual, plan of action for resolution recorded and reported to staff. If not resolved as planned, ten follow through with HEA. President Hooper reminded to follow the chain of command. Make sure staff is taking issues to building leaders 1st.

Reminded all to have meeting no matter what & send reports.

NEGOTIATIONS – met on January 8 to introduce procedure, set rules & dates. January 22 will start with proposals. Every week TEAM will meet. Please do not ask for meeting info, reports will be made at appropriate times. All meeting info must be kept confidential to preserve integrity. Tenaya Pearce is the lead negotiator. Look for standardizing of procedures and reporting throughout the district.

County average – 4.2%

 

PAC – Reminder: political action committee = must be as a payroll deduction, must be done annually, send to Betty Manning     .
