I am not going to bore you by bragging about my skills or how many fancy flashy graphics I am going to put on your site for you. Instead I will say that I will make your webpage from hand. I generate raw code using a simple notepad program included with Windows. This allows me to keep costs down to a minimum, and much as woodwork is always better and more intricate when done by hand so is webmastering. This will also insure that your webpage is easily searchable and will look good on any webdevice from the latest copy of Internet explorer to a Palm device or web enabled cellphone!
Some places advertise that they get you placed into the top 10 and list your site on thousands of search engines. How many search engines actually see any use? Google, Alta Vista and Yahoo are the big three and Google easily acounts for around two thirds of the search engine use on the Internet today. What most of these sites do is list your site on their page and wait for the search engines to crawl their site and then yours will be listed. What I will do is submit your site (once online) to the Open Directory Project. This site is 'The' site which feeds most of the major search engines and since it is human run (vs a computer that crawls the site once every month or so) being listed here is a major plus. Properly written code with working active links and no spelling errors will raise a site to the top of the lists and it will STAY there. If someone 'could' pay their way into the top ten it will more than likely not stay there very long. A lot of these sites use this top ten rating gimick (which doesnt exist) to over charger their customers sometimes over $1,000 a year! Yech!
Using dynamic HTML (HyperText Markup Language) I will make sure that if you wish you will be able to easily update information on your website so you can list your current products, sales etc..
For most medium sized webpages I charge $125. A yellow page type single ad will run less.
