There are plenty of news and information sites on the Internet. Listed here are ones I find both free (or at least mostly so) and useful. I have chosen to not list pay sites as most people already pay for the Internet. Why pay to get stuff off of the Internet? Its large enough to find free stuff which is once again my favorite price! :-)

w.moreover.com gives you a free easy to add and extremely easy to customize news ticker for your website. Just click on their Non-commercial Webmasters link and you have your ticker in minutes! They also have several pay-per-services as well.
