Details
At least two different versions (both heavily edited) of this title were produced in the U.S.
Space Warriors Baldios... First broadcast in Japan as a 1980-81 television series, an abbreviated storyline and missing episodes prompted Japanese fans to demand a theatrical sequel to tie up the loose ends, thus this full-length, 117-minute film.

Commentary
Originally released as Space Warriors Baldios in Japan circa 1980, the version released in the US in the late '80's, was badly hacked and is missing about 20 minutes. It was so horribly butchered for the children's cartoon market that it turned out to be absolutely forgettable. I used to have the dubbed VHS version.
