Commentary

Criminals sentenced to multiple life terms are given the opportunity to redeem themselves by catching other criminals. For each criminal they catch, a number of years are removed from their sentences. Of course, their heads will have to be wired to explode.

Its a nice concept that's well executed. Lots of nice visuals and battles. The first volume basically introduces the characters and shows what they're capable of (so-so) as they tackle one of those automated buildings run amok. The second features one of my favorite characters -"Goggles"- as he faces a psychic zombie-cyborg thingy. The third volume features a tale of vampires in space.

I used to have all 3 volumes on subtitled VHS. Of the three episodes, I like volume 2 the best. There's just something about a middle-aged cyber punk going up against a telephathic-zombie-cyborg that appeals to me. In fact, I liked volume 2 so much, that I repurchased it on DVD.
