Sugarbush - Sugarbush consists of two ski areas, Sugarbush South (1.5 miles from condo) and Sugarbush North (2 miles from condo). The two areas are linked by a cross-moutauin high speed quad. Sugarbush is known for abundant natural snow and plenty of expert terrain. The moutian was recently sold (Fall 2001) to a local group of investors after a few years being owned by the American Skiing Company.
Mad River Glen - The slogan at Mad River Glen (5 miles from condo) is "Ski It If You Can". This legendary resort is best for Expert skiiers, but there are some good Intermediate cruisers as well. Mad River Glen is skiing the way it used to be, with virtually no snowmaking, narrow treelined trails and rustic facilities. It also has some of the best lift ticket prices in New England.
Ole's Cross Country Ski Center - 50 Km of finely groomed Cross Country ski trails located at the Sugarbush Airport (7 miles from the condo). Complete rentals and lessons. Dinersoar Cafe on site.
Blueberry Lake Cross Country Ski Center - 40 Km of groomed cross country ski trails located in East Warren not too far from Ole's (7 miles from the condo). A bit more rustic than Ole's, but every bit as fun.
