About Me
I have been in private practice for a number of years after retiring as Chief Intellectual Property Law Counsel for Shell Oil Company in Houston. I served as Assistant General Counsel for Intellectual Property at Shell Oil Company, responsible for all intellectual property law issues in Shell, capping a career that began in research and intellectual property law and included all aspects of technology, including significant involvement in alternative energy technologies.
